Hey guys, I am sure someone has figured out a easy permanent fix for this problem. I have used my 3 dozen fullbodies about 7-8 times this year and 1/2 dozen of the nuts that hold the legs on are loosening up and making the legs wobble bad.....anyone have a fix for this so I do have to continue to tighten them up?

You may want to try some Loc-Tite, this will make the nuts fit securely. Some others may have a better solution.

Barry,
Scott gives some great advice! Loc-Tite would keep the nuts secure to the bolt. Our first run of full bodies this year had regular nuts on them; every foot base that is manufactured now has lock nuts on them.

Barry,
I put Loc-Tite on all of my '04 Foot Bases and it worked awesome. I have not had any loosen up on me since. This problem has been taken care of. Thank you very much for all of your support.

Barry,
A friend of mine went to the hardware store and bought a bunch of locking nuts. He made sure that the existing nuts were tight and put the locking nuts right on top of the existing nuts. Saved time from having to take the existing nuts off.
The full bodies shipping now have the lock nuts on them.
Thanks,

I had the same problem. Really no big deal. Loc-tite(TM) will resolve the problem. What I did is went out and got "locknuts". The ones with the nylon inserts. Now, this may be a little overkill, but my decoys get used about 3-4 times a week during our season. So a lot of handling is being done. Either loc-tite(TM) or lock-nuts.
