Hey there, We bought some snow covers for our Finishers this year and are really happy with them, especially now that the snow is arriving here in Sask. But I thought that the finisher snow covers had white mesh face flaps? These do not. There is just the white material from the doors. Does anyone know if the snow covers are supposed to have white mesh face flaps or not?
Thanks.

No they do not, is there anyway you can get some snow spray for that? That snow spray is awesome for spraying little areas such as that. How much snow have you received? We were up there about two weeks ago now and it was really nice.

We had about 5 or 6 inches this week. But its all melting this weekend. Snow geese are mostly gone out of our area, now its just the big honkers and greenheads

Doesn't that melted snow make it hard to get in the fields? We had an inch of rain this weekend in North Dakota and it is nearly impossible to get out in any field that is chisel plowed. My four wheeler had to have 200 LBS of mud on it after this morning. Thanks to the farmers pressure washer, it is clean again. Would have hated to see what the cost would have been at a regular car wash.

Good Luck,

Rick, it becomes next to impossible to move up up here in Gumbo Country when it gets muddy. I was watching geese on Friday afternoon, ploding along in the fields and they had two plus inches of mud stuck on the bottoms of their feet. It was kind of comical, until I went walking and suddenly had a simialr problem on the bottom of my boots.

Looks like we left just in time! I did start getting pretty slick by the end of the week though. Nothing like hunting geese in snow! By the way, never saw a single snow south of Weyburn so they are still pretty close to you. We did see plenty of honkers as we drove through Regina.

Mike,

I hear you on the mud. Saturday morning we shot some ducks coming back to water after feeding. They had their feet hanging down when they were coming in because of all the mud on them. Some of them looked like they were trying to be in disguise. They had enough mud on their bills to make them look like spoonbills. If they were, they were a week early. Halloween isn't until Sunday.

Thanks,

Brett, You passed through Regina and didn't call. Shame. Tough luck man, I probably could have dug out a Saskatoon Berry pie.

Rick, Ya gotta love everyday afield as it gives you something new or different to see.

Yeah, We got stuck this weekend. But luckily it was at the end of the day. This weekend is going to be a good one. Its getting drier and warm weather is in the forecast. But the mornings are cold. Honkers and Greenheads at the end of Oct. end of Nov. is my favorite time of the season.
