Default Best Head gear?

I'm wanting something new this year to wear on my head to keep me warm and was wondering what everyone else uses? My ears get cold and I would like something warm and windproof atleast. I usually wear a skull cap but they don't cover my ears too well.

Any input?

I use the Under Armour full facemask and then put their cold gear fleece skull cap over it. I sweat on the warmest days, and you would be amazed how much warmer your entire body stays using this set up.

That sounds perfect! An improved skull cap would be great. Especially since it has ear flaps that would be great for boat rides. Does it have the Avery logo on it anywhere?

Anybody else have anything to add here?

I wear a combination of a Avery double skull cap and a Avery neck gator to keep my neck, ears & head warm. The double skull cap is longer then the regular skull cap but probably not as long as the new glad. skull cap. I'd team up any skull cap with the neck gator.

If the wind is really blowing and real cold, I'll put a regular Avery skull cap underneath the double skull cap to keep my head warm.

Well i use the under armor cold gear beanie and i love it its the warmest hat i've ever worn and it does amazing in cold temps and it gets a little warm in around 35 to 40 degrees. The one i have is a little large and it goes well over my ears so i can bunch it up if i want. I'd say spend the money on the under armor hat and stay warm in all weather.
