That has yet to be determined with any of these decoys!

I flocked some goose heads for a friend 5+years ago back when flocking was still a relatively new thing. I used the same technique. His goose decoys stay out all season(60 days). Yes he is loosing some paint/flocking but they have spent many days in the field. He also uses a propane torch to take frost off so that doesn't help. I don't leave mine out so it would take me decades to equal the same number of hours of exposure. I had also tested them before doing his whole spread. One of my tests was to soak the heads and then freeze them for a week and then let thaw. No lose of paint/flocking occurred.

So hopefully with all of that past tests on his goose heads I expect/hope them to hold up well. We shall see! Several hours of constant contact with the water will be a serious test.

That is what I am most curious about. How will it stand up to constant soaking in water.

Thanks,

No loss of flocking with a four hour soaking as well as having becoming frozen in on a cold morning.
