Default Great Goose Recipe

Just decided to try this and ended up being a big hit. ENJOY

Goose Meat Phillies-

Eight goose breast filets (5-6 people)
Slice as thin as possible (tip: slicing while still partially frozen allows for ultra thin slicing)

Marinate the meat with a bottle of Italian dressing 1/2 cup of worchestershire and 5 to 6 dashes of liquid smoke. Let sit in fridge for at least 24 hours.

Saute the meat in a pan with butter until cooked through

Meanwhile Saute minced mushrooms, green peppers, and onions.

Finally the cheese sauce. Melt two tsp of butter and mix in two tsp of flour and stir constantly for one minute. Add one cup of warmed whole milk and stir for four to five minutes until thickens. Take sauce off the heat and add a bag of shredded monteray jack and a bag of Italian blend and stir until melted.

Server on toasted hoggie buns.

This will take some timing to have everything come together at the right time, but very simple and very delicious.

Like always enjoy with a nice glass of crown royal
