When the going gets tough

So last night my brother and i got a call from a good friend saying that he had a field scouted with a good amount of birds in it and wanted us to hunt with him along with 2 other guys so it would be a total of 5 guys. We had school the next morning but we thought if we got in the field and the birds worked in as early as they had been, we could get to school and hopefully shoot some geese. So we pack up all the decoys and blinds and get up the next morning hoping to get some revenge on all the times we had been skunked this year. We had a few flocks come in and ended up shooting 8 and it was about 7:20. After about 5 minutes the geese just started pouring in from all over but we couldn't manage to get any within range anymore. Finally a flock came right in range and we told my brother to shoot to get his two and he ended up getting them so that made a limit! We went into this hunting not even knowing if we'd get a shot and we ended up having heck of a morning. So when the going get's tough it's still worth going to try and get some!
