Quick question on the fullbody motion bases for the goose decoys. Do they attach to the decoy, or are they two seperate pieces? I guess what I'm asking is if I grab a lesser sentry decoy by the head, will the base stay on the ground, or come up with the decoy?

Thanks,
Foldem

I am not sure you realize how simple putting the decoy on the motion base is - it requires about 2.75 seconds. No joke, we factory intall a Motion Cone to the inside the decoy. This cone resembles an upside down funnel, and it acts as a guide for the top of the motion base upright rod to follow when you place the decoy on the mation base. No flashlight required!

Like I said, it takes no time to stick a decoy on top of a motion base plus these decoys and bases take up significantly less space that decoys with permanently mounted foot bases.

They do come as two unattached items...

1. Decoy
2. Real-Motion Base

As tom stated, the ease of placing these dexoys as well as picking them up is unmatched. I wouldn't have them any other way. You can store so many more in the same space as you could with normal attached bases.

grenhdkilr- Buy them brother! It will not take any more time to set up your spread than it ever has. You can set up these decoys in the dark with your eyes closed. There is no little hole to find as with the old motion stakes. I would bet in fact that you would never "miss" the cone setting it up in 10000 tries. Its that simple. And, the motion that these have is flat out awesome.

Mark you have never hunted with this guy if there is something that can happen... it will!!
Scott, when you called me yesterday on the phone I had you all talked into them, from now on have your wife call and order your decoys. I am sure she wouldn't change her mind as much!

I don't know what the real motion stakes look like, but are they straight? If they are the type that have the upright rod with the circle of rod at the bottom, they might be a little more difficult to haul from the trailer to the field. If you are carrying decoys, you also have to carry rods. If you put your rods out first, it is usually dark and you might have trouble finding all of them. If you are just adjusting the spread it will be a little more effort to carry decoys while picking up rods, etc. This may be what the concern above was all about. I'm sure we will adapt and whatever effort it takes to use these beautiful decoys will be worth it.

Frank, the motion bases and stakes have a white end piece, shouldn't have too much trouble losing them in the dark! Thanks.
