Guys, with the decoys fitting good in these bags, and Tom stated you can just turn the motion base upside down over the decoys neck for transport I was wondering, I mentioned besides the large cargo pockets on the bags for motion stakes, etc.. I brought up the need of a velcro strap. If some type of velcro strap was put on one of the sides of the bag, you could simply run the strap through the wire bases on all (6) motion bases and re-velcro. This would hold them nice and neat on the outside of the bag, away from the decoys. Maybe not needed on the older 6 slot bags, but would be a good option to add as well.
What do you think?? |

Jed, I was planning on putting a caribiner clip on mine, the D clips. You would put it right to the strap.

With the smaller decoys like the snows and blues, you can put 2 fullbodies in one of the slots, leaving one open, and stack all 6 footbases in one slot. That works well as long as they are the smaller decoys/fullbodies. A velcro strap would hold them fairly tight and secure/firm together reducing the jangling and noise. I used a piece of thicker diameter /rot proof decoy string and tied them tight to my strap. That has worked the best for me so far.. |

Jed- I am doing mine the same way. I thought of that last year, and never got around to doing it. I hope to give that a try this year.
