Hey guys,

I read on a post that the new Lesser/Speck 6 slots include a sizable cargo pocket...this is a cool thing...however...where I live, we don't have Specks or Dinks so I'm high and dry on the nicety of a cargo pocket...or am I?

I plan on having a dozen oversized floaters for the upcoming season. So here is my question...It has a couple parts to it so hang in there...

It is a given that the floaters fit in the STANDARD 6 slot full body goose bag. However, does anyone know if the oversized Canada Floaters will fit into the new '05 Lesser/Speck bags?

If the answer is yes...then that is great news for us water spread guys...for two reasons...First is the obvious...they are 5 dollars cheaper (that's 10 bucks cheaper for the 2 I will require)...second we are now afforded the extra storage of the cargo pocket while at the same time reducing the overall dimensions of the actual bag...perhaps making it a space saver in the Pickup/SUV (or the 1988 Ford Taurus sedan...Bwahaha...don't laugh...it runs).

Hopefully one of you staffers will give me the good news...If not, I'll probably still buy the bigger standard bags. After all, it is a great product regardless of the dimensions and lack of cargo pouch.

Thanks guys.

Scary

P.S.- If this question has already been asked on another post...Please excuse my ignorance and bare with me...I'm new.

I should clarify that I'm talking about the 6-Slot Snow Goose Bag... Until I saw them at a retail website I thought they were called Lesser/Speck Bags.

Waiting on your replies...As soon as I find out the answer to this question, Avery is getting my entire bank account (literally the whole thing). It's a tough life. But someone's gotta kill these things right?

Anxiously awaiting

Scary

Scary, Maybe a TM should answer this to be 100% sure, but just by looking at the new 6 slot bags, I dont think the Oversize floaters will fit in the slots.

These bags were designed for the smaller Speck Snow and Lesser fullbodies.

Scary, For that very little cash difference I would defenitely go with the 6 slot goose, you know for sure that your floaters will fit.

I have the office checking to see if the Over-Size Canada goose floater will indeed fit in the 6-slot snow/lesser/speck decoy bag. We are going to have to put you into a holding pattern until we find out.

I will let you know as soon as I hear anything.

Thanks,

Thanks guys...Waiting indeed...

I don't mind to spend the extra dollarfor the bigger ones but it's just that...They are bigger. If I can get away with the smaller ones, I'd like to because it means less space in the vehicle and more room for MORE STUFF! Thanks a lot for your help. I'm impressed that you guys actually got the office looking into it for me. That's very cool of you guys. I'm beginning to see what all the hype is about. This forum is awesome.

Thanks again Rick,

Scary

Scary,

If you do any field hunting for Canadas, don't overlook the new Lesser Full Bodies. The new GHG Lessers are slightly over-sized and the perfect size for adding realism to any goose spread on all of the flyways. I plan on adding a few dozen to my spread this year. The new Lessers also have different head positions then the GHG Full Bodies. The more head and body positions you add to your spread, the more life you add to your spread. Thanks again for your interest in Avery/GHG products.

The 6-Slot Avery Full Body Bags work great for the Over-Size Floaters. I used them last season for storing and tranporting my GHG O.S. Floaters.
