Hello I'm a new member here and I was just wondering about how long the paint will hold up on the GHG decoys. The decoys are the best I've ever used or seen. Keep up the good work!

Wesley,
Welcome to the Avery Message Boards! I am not sure I can answer your question as many hunters treat their decoys/use their decoys differently. I do not baby mine and they get good use and all of mine are holding up very well. |

All of my 2004 fullbodies paint held up well. Not having a decoy trailer I hauled mine around in decoy bags inside my boat all last year. Yes I have a few rub marks where they slid around, but that was from my own doing. I also have Pintails, Ringnecks and Mallards that still look like they just came out of the box. The oversize Mallards are just exceptional.

some are better than others. i have 4 dozen 03 duck decoys and 75% have problems with paint loss paint fading and a couple leakers with no holes from bbs. and i have a dozen 04 hotbuys and so far they are just fine. and these decoys stay out for 2 months.

I appreciate the feed back and I hope the GHG and Avery take over the decoy market. These new final approach decoys don't hold a candle to the GHG decoys. Great work and please keep them coming.
