Tom, I have just like 2 of my decoys that have paint problems out of the dozen. Is there something you guys will do even if its just like 2 of my decoys or does it have to be mainly the whole dozen?

Thanks Tom.

Brett,

After the hundreds of requests exactly like yours that have been respoded to exactly the same way, don't you think it would be best if you simply called our customer servie department at 800 333-5119 and made the request for the new decoys? This is what I have told everyone else for months so do you really think it is a good idea to start this up again?

Bringing up the same problem over and over and over again on public message boards does nothing but run the Avery name into the ground, and we have done everything that has been asked of us. There is no other company in the hunting industry that replaces product like Avery does so why ask the question again. I know you meant no harm, but i need to state this so anyone reading this will understand that there is a process that needs to be followed for the fastest results.

One more time so there is no confusion: Avery's customer service department can be reached from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST Monday through Friday at 800 333-5119.

Thanks,

Tom

Brett,

I have visited the Avery Message Board many times but decided today to register. Some of the complaints toward Avery are rediculous. Over the past couple of months I have watched people bash Avery for their problems with some of their decoys. I have bought and hunted over thousands of decoys in my lifetime and have never thought about returning one because the paint was chipping off, I never knew you could return a decoy because of paint chipping off. Almost all the decoys I have used have had some paint to chip off, if I had returned every decoy that had paint to chip off on their first few uses I would never have to buy another decoy again. I have some GHG decoys and I bought them for their great look but I also bought them for how cheap they are. You can not find another decoy out there with the quality fo GHG for this price. My suggestion to you is to touch up your paint problems and throw your two decoys back into your spread.
Sincerelry,

Mickey

Tom, it is the first time he has asked the question. Dont take for granted that people read all the posts when they come here. Just answer "" call customer service and we will take care of it". I know you are sick of all the negative post, but dont worry! you guys are building a reputation for taking care of your customers.

In your defense, no other maunufacturer has the balls to do what you are doing, that is , provide an open forum for customers to voice an opinion or ask questions. My hats off to you guys. Most people who read how you stand behind your product will think of how that is a positive verses the negative press you might get for having customers complain. I was not a avery man until I read your forums and how you stand behind your products. From now on everything I buy will have an avery label if you make that kind of product. Any plans to make pickup trucks?

Thanks for the forums!

Brett,

I guess these other guys don't realize that you and I actually e-mail each other several times a week via regular e-mail. They also don't know that you are probably about to join the Avery Junior Pro-Staff so they probably think I was ripping your butt up a little. I think you know what I was saying so I will make it more clear for everyone here.

Brett is a fine young man who would rather hunt that eat, but he needs to understand that when you find a manufacturer who will basically do anything the public asks, you might want to consider working with them to keep that willingness available. In other words, the best way to resolve a problem is to contact the company and get an adjustment. To publically advertise a problem (especially when it has been advertised for months already) is unhealthy for the manufacturer. That is what I wanted Brett to understand, and I did it publically to show him how it feels to be on the other end. I wanted him to feel the sting of the public spotlight because, as an Avery Pro-Staffer, he will be subject to comments that might anger or embarrass him. This might help him deal with these situations better because the only training for these situations is true life experience.

Brett, sorry if you got a little bee sting here, but I think you know how I appreciate you. If you don't then let me say it again - I appreciate your support of our brand, and we want guys like you around for a long time.

I hope this clears this up, and I apologize if my intentions were misunderstood. Public forums can be a great thing...

Tom
