I am brand new to message board, but have been reading a lot about the complaints that people have had, etc. I want to say, like others before me have, the GHG decoys are great and I have no complaints about quality. I bought a dozen "hot buys" this year just to fill my spread a little. After a long season of being carried in about a half mile three times a week all season long these decoys are still in great shape. Out of the dozen GHG, I have to touch up a spot on two heads. That is far better than I can say about my other decoys or those used by my partners. One question though, what sort of weight can I use on the low head mallards? The strap weight won't secure around it, I have a scoop type with wire off the back and that doesn't really work either. Any suggestions?
Once again though a great product at an amazing price, and from what I hear the customer service is like no other. Keep up the excellent work! Avery decoys will do more than "fill out my spread" in the future.

On the anchor question. If you hook a thick small rubber band on the cord and where the anchor meets, you can hook the anchor to the keel and take the rubber band and hook it on there also so that it stays and you dont have to put them around the neck. I do it on my dekes.
I hope you can understand what I am saying.

I use the GREEN HEAD tangle free line and weight adjusters, and crimps, and weights,
1st 1 fold the strap in 1/2 run my line through the hole and attach it w/the crimp, I then spray the weight w/plast-dip rubber coating, this keeps the weight from oxidizing and leaving white milky substances on the dekes after the coating dries run the free end of the cord through the keel slide the depth adjuster up the line until the weight is touching the keel on one side and the adjuster is touching the keel on the other whamo your weight rest under the keel and you don't have to wrap anything but cord (and I don't do that )
