It was a black flag and was different from what I've seen people use and what we use. It almost looked like it was attached just at the top of the flag to the pole which appeared to give it a great illusion of a flopping bird?

Mossy,

That is exactly what it was. A T-Flag on an aluminium shaft. It was only attached at the top allowing it to move around like you seen. The method works good with any T-Flag if you have a little breeze at your back.

Thanks Shawn. I was just making sure before I went out to buy another one. A buddy lost my other one and I can't be out goose hunting without a flag.
