Question Avery/Macks blind offer question

In the new Mack's PW catalog it says you get a free black Avery skull cap and Zink "Runnin' Traffic" DVD. I ordered a youth finisher for my son, and it arrived today.

The blind was in perfectly new condition, but there was no instruction manual, no skull cap, no DVD, and no certificate to send in for them.

I sent an email to them, but I was wondering if there were items/instructions/certificates missing from the box?

If anyone has ordered a blind through them, could you tell me what arrived at your door.

Typically the skull cap and DVD come second. At least that is what I found last year with the free killer weed etc. Are you sure the youth blind comes with the DVD and skull cap? I don't have my catalog in front of me to double check.

As far as the manual/instructions. If you call Avery customer service (1-800-333-5119), they can help you out.

I don't really need the instructions. My Finisher is about 7-8 years old (1st generation, before they went to alum. frames), and the setup was pretty similar.
I just assumed my boy would get the extra hat and DVD because the catalog says ALL groundblinds get them right above the youth blinds. The fact that there was nothing but the blind in the box seemed odd. When I bought mine, there was a paper in the box to send in for the "Whistling Wings 6" VHS so I expected to see a similar paper in his box.

Since I mentioned my blind, let me throw this in. I love the Finisher blind! Next to my gun it is the best piece of waterfowling equipment I have ever bought. I am 6'3"/255 and it fits just right, folds up small, and mine came with the cover so I can wear it like a backpack. I have been rough on it at times and never had any issues (I have bent the frame trying to jump in it when I got busted by quiet solo birds, and I just bend it back in shape with no problem.) My favorite hunts were where I buried the blind in 3 feet of snow so that the top was level with the snow. Birds landing on top of you is NICE. Hopefully, my son will have many good hunts out of his. This is his first year shooting at 7 years-old. Can't wait for his first duck and goose.

I got my skull cap and dvd the other day, but of course the ground force blind is still on back order, I made sure and asked the lady about it while i was on the phone and everything worked out.
I would call customer service, they should be able to hook you up!

Your son should definately love it. I am getting a youth finisher this year as well, to help twist the arm of some buddies to bring their kid along more. Kids make better pictures than 30-40 year old greasy men anyways!!

I just looked at the catalog, by the looks of it you should get the gear, but I can't speak for Macks PW. Maybe it is just coming in a different box.

If it doesn't work out with Macks, send me a PM. I already watched the DVD and I know I have an extra skull cap here somewhere. Just post up some PICS of your boy in the blind this fall and we will be square.

Thumbs up PM to you Cheryl

This is why I order from Mack's! My order was on the doorstep in 4 days, and they are doing what they can to make a customer happy.

A big thumbs up for Cheryl!

I was on the fence as to where I would order decoys from next week. This is good customer service, and they will be getting my deke order because of it. The only question now is how many I need.........
