Default A crazy 15 minutes!

Yesterday afternoon we set up the decoys to hunt a mob of about 500 Canadas that were coming in to feed just before dark on a grass padock. Right on time they showed up in several large mobs, these geese have been heavily hunted and I thought it would be a one shot wonder but in about the 15 minutes the flight lasted we had almost all of them wings cupped feet down over the decoys. in that frantic few minutes Shane and I killed over 40 of the big Canadas.

I was using my 60 GHG Canadas goose shells with flocked heads an we were hunting out of Shane's Avery Finiser blinds. It just proves once again how those GHG shell decoys are easily the most effective shell decoy on the market, and for the hunters that have limited room to transport decoys or those on a tighter budget you are no way dissadvataged when using such dam good dekes.

Here we are waiting for the evening flight

A view up the valley

It was dark when we finished hunting so the photo of the bag is not that good

Now that is a testament to the effectiveness of shells. Thanks for the post, Paul. I only wish we could shoot geese like that. Great pics of the spread as well.
