Default Finisher vs Ground Force

I am in the middle of researching layout blinds and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two. I have read the specs and performed a search on them. The Finisher is $40 higher than the GForce. The are very close the same size. The Finisher has been on the market longer and more proven than the GF. I have read about the testing since 2004 on the GF. What really are the differences between these blinds? I go 6'-0" and 185'. I would think I would fit in either of them. I don't want to be cramped. Any feedback on these two blinds compared to each other would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The ground force folds up into a pack back type configuration. I also believe it has a lower profile and it might be a hair wider.

That is the difference's that I know about.

On a side note cabelas has them on there website now!

The Ground Force is just slightly lower profiled. I like the way the Ground Force folds up as well and the set up is a snap. You will fit just fine in either one. I am around you size and I don't feel cramped in either of the blinds. You can't go wrong with either of these blinds.

It is going to be your preference. Your size will not be an issue with either of these blinds. My personal opinion is that the Ground Force is the most functional blind to ever hit the market...again my opinion. Slightly lower in profile, slightly more room, slightly lower price, and it folds into a blind that can be back packed.

Both of these blinds are deadly on geese. They are both comfortable, and they are both very easy to hunt out of. If I had to go with one of them on a daily basis, it would have to be the new Ground Force. We hunted out of these everyday last season and we fell in love with them. They have a ton of room inside, they are very low profile, and transporting them is a cake walk as they fold up like the Power Hunter. The Finisher blind is still a close second but it is tough to compete with the Ground Force.

Good Hunting!

Are both of the blinds made of the same material? I know they weigh very close to the same. I have read some posts on another site where the Finisher blinds had some issues with some frame subcomponents breaking. Has this been addressed? Are the frames in these two blinds mostly of the same design and materials with the exception of the GF being able to folded up like a back pack vs the Finisher folding up long ways and needing to be shouldered in? Thanks guys for all the feedback. I live near a Sportsman's Warehouse and a Cabela's and was hoping to see each of these blinds very soon. Any idea when they will be the stores?

Thanks,
Wow. I want the last hour of my life back... I just read through that train wreck...

I am so glad I wasn't following the board at that moment in time...
