Default decoy bags???

Do you need a certain bag for fullbody canada geese? Will one bag fit both moition and real foot fullbodys? thanks.

My observation...for motion canada dekes use the motion bags with the draw string covered tops, for the realfoot base canada dekes, looker/greeters, and the rester/sleepers, use the original open top six slots.

The original open top six slots will work for all the dekes, but the motions are a bit sloppy in the larger slots, where as the realfoot bases fit better in the larger slots. The sleeper/resters are soooo fat that they fit tight in the motion bags, so I recommend the original open top six slots for those too.

I have my dekes in different bags so I know where they go, and what I'm putting out for the spread that hunt.

Hope this helps.

Dave,

I agree with you on the fit. The original bag is not open top anymore. All Canada goose bags, original, motion and mid-size bags have the black nylon drawstring top.

Tim

Thanks for passing along the info, Tim. How does the bird population in Illinois look right now?

I have the original 6 slot canada goose FB bag and like others say, if you take the feet off the fullbodies and put them in the slots, they are preety loose which makes it hard to tighten the bag up completely.
But you can fit two FB without reelfeet in the slots too if you put them in belly to belly. I can fit 7 to 8 fullbodies in the bags depending on the feet/no feet combination.
