Default Feeding Goose Decoys???

Have you guys ever thought about making a feeding goose decoy. Like a goose butt or something. Just thought it would be good idea for early season in the shallows.

Do you use these a lot? I'm curious, how many goose hunters use goose butts? Seriously we want to know.

Travis, I use them quite a bit actually. The white on the butts are great for visibility.

Early season I throw a few out. They seem to work great if you throw a few around in your spread.

I use them for geese, pintails, wigeon, and mallards. The white on the geese, pins and wigeon is a great attention getter more so if used with a jerk string.

in almost every water set up. Realism, a relaxed look to the spread , and the white ass is great for a visibilty tool. why wouln't yah?

Thumbs up

Goose Butt-Ups, Goose No-Head Feeders and drinkers/skimmers.

Not only in Canadas, but Specks, Snows and Blues.

The reason most folks don't use certain poses of decoys is because there aren't alot available. Most in brands that no one wants to buy. Folks will buy them if they are done like Avery can do them.

I think a couple of goose butts would be a great addition to a water spread/rig.
