Opening day has been a good one for the most of Arkansas. All over the state I have heard very good reports of good duck numbers being killed. Here at the Avery camp lot of birds using the area that have water in them. Had a great opening morning.

The Forrest City area sucked for me. We have a real good spot, but only killed a few ducks. At least the ones we killed were mallards though. I hope this cold weather in the forecast for the next few days pushes some new birds in.

One of the guys in a club I'm in also, hunted the Jonesboro/Harrisburg area Sat/Sun and said it was fair at best.

Its getting good here again in Indiana. I'm hunting Wed-Sun. We only get 60 days, got to make the most of it.
