Unhappy

Does anyone have any experience with using an aerator to keep an opening on frozen ponds for duck hunting? Any other idea's or experiences would be appreciated.

WHEN WE GET A BIG FREEZE WE USE A SLEDGE HAMMER TO BREAK HUGE CHUNKS OR ''SHEETS'' OF THE FROZEN ICE AND SLIDE THEM UNDER THE ICE WE DIDNT BREAK. THIS WORKS PRETTY GOOD AND IS FAST, FOR OPENING UP A HOLE.

No, but if you do a search for "ice eater". There was a discussion on keeping water open during cold weather. When you type in "ice eater", the heading will be "frozen fields". TINY'S TWO CENTS
