Lets get this place going again. What new tricks are people going to try for next fall? Myself, I have made a jerk cord for both deep and shallow water. Nothing fancy there. I also have a couple of old pop up style blinds that I am going to make some rat houses out of with Avery's RealGrass. I also plan on seeing If I can get those Power Hunters hidden right in the middle of sod fields with Avery's new KillerWeed.

Brett, I am going to try some of the new GHG fullbodies on the downwind side of my spreads. And finally try to decide on either the Powerhunter or the new Khaki Finisher with neo-tub and mud that thing up good! That finisher neo-tub combo seems like a necessity for ground blinds down here.We surely have some wet winters. I am sure there will be more as the summer progresses.

Not really going to do anything differently this year. I plan on hunting fields more often than I have in the past, just out of convienience. I prefer hunting water, as then you have a chance at everything, but, have some great fields that are a closer, easier set up, so will be doing some serious testing on the ol' powerhunter this fall.

well guys,
this is one thing that I am going to do that noone else has done that iknow of. I am going to fully flock a bunch of mallard enticers and use some real mallard silhouette decoys. I am mainly going to focus on feeding fields. Iam planning to hunt the entire season. as the season gets further along I will then bring out more toys, like the mojo, and that vortex spinning wing catraption...I have one on order.... and also I am making some duck flags... you know how to flag geese, well I am going to flag ducks.
have a good season, and I ll take care of some serious mallard collapsing action.
later

this year i think i am going to try to mix up y spread more and add more feeders and other decoys in the spred. and ecspecially with GHG comming out with all the new species i gotta get some to put out. typically we dont see just one species of duck sitting a hole. Gotta get those new gaddys some jacks. on geese gonna try to go to full bodies instead of shells when we hunt the river.

I am going to be trying different styles of longlines. I am still not happy with the set-up I have right now.
I will also be hunting dry fields more.
