Does anyone know a good general area to shoot some snow geese in North Dakota?

Try the area just south of the Turtle Mountains. Remember, the more you restrict your hunting area, the more you restrict the likely hood of getting good bag limits. The migration is tricky and unless you are flexible in when you can depart (a moments notice) you may be better off investing in gas and finding the birds. A great resource (not that fellow hunters woud ever steer you wrong) is the Game Fish and Parks CO's. Believe me, they know where the migration is. I have NEVER had any problem finding good accurate information from a CO or "Game Warden". The Feds are better yet. If you get checked by a Fed, your in the right area!

Anywhere from Rolla to Kenmare, but the weather will dictate whether or not they will be down in great numbers when you are there. Kenmare is now calling itself the Snow Goose capital of North Dakota.
