Is it normal for the leafy like pieces to fall of of the camoflage netting to the blind. we have had the blind for about five years now and it was fine last year but when we took it out this year the camoflage was gone and the only thing left was the netting.

Michael,
How did you store your LeafyCut CamoSkirts? I recently placed my Quick-Set Waterfowl Blind on my boat for its sixth season and it looks as good as the first season. I store my Wind Blockers and CamoSkirts in rubbermaid containers. I make sure the Wind Blockers and CamoSkirts are dry before I store them during the off season. The rubbermaid containers are then placed in my garage.

Rusty we stored them right on the frame of the blind and just rolled them up together like you would when you pack up for the day. Should we take them compleatley of the blind.

Michael,
My CamoSkirts and Wind Blockers remain on my blind for the duration of our season. During the season, I cover my boat with a waterproof cover to keep the sunlight and moisture off of the blind. During the off season, I remove the CamoSkirts and Wind Blockers and store them in rubbermaid containers. If you stored your blind so that it was exposed to sunlight, the past five years of sunlight may have damaged your CamoSkirts. UV is very damaging to most material when left exposed.

UV is very damaging to the nylon/cerex material that the CamoNets were made out of back then. It could have been stored somewhat wet. The cause is unknown, but these are a couple of options.
We have been making changes and revisions to the CamoNet for some time. We recently switched to polyester material. It has a black back and camo front with netting sewn to it. The advantage of this is that you can attach KillerWeed or any natural vegetation to the blind to help disguise it. Hope this helps. Thanks,
