Last week, we received a shipment decoys here in Maryland. In that order, were the much anticipated "Lesser Canada Goose Fullbody Decoy". I want to show the veiwers the difference in the two decoys and how realistic a spread can become with the two different size decoy. Let us know what you think. Click the image to enlarge for more detail.

I like the paint scheme on the life size series better. Might be just the picture but there is two much light brown on the lessers anyone else think the same ???

Mixing the two sizes really adds realism to a spread. Yesterday we shot three limits of geese out of two flocks. The first flock of geese were 9-12 pounders. The second flock of geese were 2-4 pounders. Attached below is a picture of one of the small geese from the second flock next to one of the new GHG Lessers.

Jase,

The lessers look awesome. I noticed they have them in the new macks catelog. If I had some extra money I would purchase some. They would be a great addition to a spread.

Rusty,

Great color comparison between the decoy and an actual Lesser.

Thanks,

A better picture of the different size of geese we shot would be the hero shot. In the attached picture below, the second goose from the left dwarfs the other three.

The colours of the lessers look just fine next to the dead lesser..I was referring to the sides of the lesser decoys, near the flank area..
