I was wondering how long the warranty lasts on the cooler bags? I have one that is about 3 years old and leaks badly. I may just have to buy a new one, they are great.

DJ,

I'm sorry for the trouble with your cooler. We double line them now so leaking coolers have become a thing of the past. Let's see what we can do to fix your problem now.

The warranty on our coolers, just like everything else we make, is this "If the product tears up,and you think that it should have lasted longer based on the treatment it got as well as the amount of time you used it, then we'll be more than happy to fix it for you free of charge." How's that for a long answer?

We have always considered ourselves very lucky to have the greatest customers in the world because duck and goose hunters are reasonable people who know the value of a dollar. If the cooler is leaking, you can send it back and it will be repaired. Simply call the dealer where you purchased the cooler and tell them you want to make a return, and they will handle it from there.

In the meantime, you can also use zip-locked bags of ice instead of putting the ice directly into the cooler. What I always did before we started double-lining our coolers was to freeze a 2-liter bottle of water and put it in the bottom. That thing would go all day without melting and would never leak. Just a thought.

Thanks for the question as well as the business!

Tom Matthews

Thanks Tom. I think I will have to get one of those double lined ones.
