Rule Winch Installing

I just bought and new Rule G1800E Winch. Trying to get some Ideals on how to mount this winch to my Nova boat. Im trying some different thing like making pulling point on the bow of the boat. Using a 10.5"X 3" x 1" alum. Puting in two 3/4 allen bolts to be used for pulling points. Mounting the plate in the bow of the boat. The allen bolt will have a 1/4 hole for a pad lock or a quick release pins. Any Ideals ?
