I currently use one layout mat to put my shotgun on and one to put my big butt on. I would like to know if there is any way to get a bigger layout mat say 5ft by 7 or 8 ft. I am a larger shadow of my former self at 6ft. 4 in and 260 lbs.
Thanks much--CORLEY

We have toyed with the concept of a larger layout mat but the cost of the material drives the retail up considerably. What would someone be willing to pay for a mat of that size? We could add it to the line if the demand for the product is there. Let me know what you think.

I would pay whatever you wanted because I would have to buy at least 3 mats now to do what I want.
I just need a mat big enough to stay dry and free of mud. The current mats keep you dry and clean. I was out yesterday laying on one mat and had my SP-10 next to me on another mat. Some low level showers and strong wind came up and I folded the one mat over my shotgun which kept the rain out and the other one kept the parts of me that were on the mat free of mud. Other parts of me not on the mat got full of mud and stuff. I don't mind getting dirty if I have to but if I had a larger mat to lay on comfortably I would be a lot more comfortable. I would be willing to pay anything for a much larger mat. Thanks much. CORLEY

Another thought I have about a larger layout is-- if a person had a bigger layout mat he could use it as a base to put one of your portable blinds on--like the finisher-- it would be great to put one of those blinds on. I thought of having a canvas shop sewing 4 current layout mats together but the seams would not be waterproof. I currently pay about $16.00 per mat so a larger mat 5 or 6 ft by 7 or 8 ft for $60 to $70 would not be out of line.

Corley,
The bottom of the Finisher and Power Hunter blinds are made from waterproof material, so there would really be no gain. It might provide some additional insulation for extreme cold, but wouldn't add to keeping you dry.
