I hunted from my new blind for the first time last weekend. I had a slow weekend but 4 of the flocks that appeared to lock-up and coming in to the decoy's flared off prior to gunning range. Has this been a problem for anyone else?

I have used my quick set when the backgroud was not favorable and still had no problems. Last year a blue heron tryed to land on it while i was hunting on the river. I put the lid door in front of me all the down and the lid door behind me at 45'. I still wear a mask because my face can be seen.

Any type of man made camo that doesn't have any natural vegitation on it is going to stick out no matter where you put it?

Is it in MO break up? If it is it will be too dark for most situations in this area (I assume you are hunting local lakes like Cooper, Lewisville and others)especially if you don't have a good background.

Try adding grass from the area you set up in or some grass mats that they make.
